Where are we located?
Our address is 1855 Frontage Rd, Blackfoot Idaho 83221. Here are the directions to our location from the I-15 Freeway. Take exit 93 for Blackfoot. Turn West (this will take you over the bridge of the Snake River) You will come to a stop light turn left toward hwy 39. Once on hwy 39 you will take the first left after the railroad tracks. This will put you on Bridge road and you will go back over the Snake River. After you cross the bridge take the first right, (before you go under freeway overpass) this will put you on Frontage Road! You will pass Premier Technologies and the Bingham County animal shelter, then you will start to parallel the Freeway. Once the road turns away from the free way, our shop is on the right. It is a green and white shop. Please feel free to call if you have questions.
What are our hours?
Monday- Friday 9am-6pm Saturday and Sunday by appointment. You’re able to book online 24 hours with the book now link. Please call 208-681-9288 or 208-681-8264 during normal business hours.
How much does it cost to rent a trailer?
We have different rates for each size of trailer plus we have different rates for spring/summer (Wednesday before Memorial Day- Labor Day) and Fall/Winter (Labor Day to Wednesday before Memorial Day). Rates are listed under the description for each trailer. Click on “Book a trailer” above to look at each trailer’s information.
We require 25% of your total rent down in order to hold your reservation. The rest of your rent is due at the time of pick up.
What kind of refundable deposits are there?
We have a $200 cleaning/damage deposit. When the trailer comes back clean, with no damage, it hasn’t been smoked in, & water, septic, and garbage emptied you will get the $200 back. If the trailer comes back with damage that we need to get insurance involved the $200 will go towards the deductible.
What are the pick up and drop off times?
We will contact you a day or two before your pick up date to schedule your pick up time. We expect you to be on time for this appointment. A late charge of $50 per half hour will be charged if you are more than 30 min late for your scheduled pick up time. We need the trailer dropped off no later than 3:00pm on the last day of your rental. If you prefer a later drop off time, this must be approved before taking the trailer out. If the trailer comes back after 3pm without prior approval there will be late fees charged.
What if I return the trailer before the date it is due back?
No refunds will be made for later pick up or bringing back early.
What if I am late in picking up or returning the trailer?
We require that you are on time when picking up the trailer. Please keep in mind that we have multiple trailers coming in and going out everyday. Sometimes we need to book appointments as close as an hour apart to fit everyone in. If you are running late and the next appointment is on time you will be pushed back to the next available appointment. A late charge of $50 per half hour will be charged if you are more than 30 min late for pick up. The trailer is due back by 3pm on the day of return. We ask that you contact us as you are leaving your camping spot with an estimated time of arrival so we can be there to meet you.
Are the trailers stocked with?
We provide some cleaning supplies, one roll of paper towels, 2 rolls toilet paper, dish soap, and all necessary electric and sewer hookups. We will fill the water tanks for you if you need. Our 26′ Hideout, 27′ Prowler & 30′ Prowler come with a tv. We have 2 option to have the trailers furnished. We have a kitchen package that comes with pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, bowls, eating utensils and kitchen towels. Then our linens package includes towels, wash cloths, sheets and comforter. The kitchen package is $25 and the Linens package is $50. Are pets allowed in the trailer?
Absolutely! It’s not a family camping trip without the entire family! Bring your fury family members along! We do have a non-refundable $100 charge for allowing pets, even if the animal is small or hypoallergenic. If you bring your pets and don’t tell us to avoid the $100 charge and we see evidence of a pet in the trailer there will be a charge of $500.
Can people ride in the trailer while we are traveling?
No. There are no seat belts in the trailers. Please have all passengers in the vehicles, with seat belts on while traveling.
Is there a maximum mileage we can put on the trailers?
Nope, you can take the trailer from coast to coast.
Can we travel out of the country with your trailers?
You can take our trailers into Canada, but not Mexico.
How do I pay for my rental?
We accept credit card, over the phone, in person, or through PayPal. We can also accept cash in person.
Can we tow another trailer behind your trailer?
No. It can be very difficult and unsafe to pull two trailer at one time. We will not allow you to take the risk.
I don’t have a way to haul the trailer, do you deliver?
Yes we can deliver the trailers directly to your camp site. The delivery price will cover us delivering the trailer, leveling it and getting everything plugged in and set up. Then on the day of check out we will break everything down, dump the sewer and return it home. Delivery cost do vary and are subject to change as fuel prices fluctuate. What if I have to cancel my reservation?
You may cancel your reservation 2 weeks prior to the pick-up date and you will be refunded 100% of your deposit. If you notify us 14 days or less of your cancellation you will forfeit 100% of your deposit.
Do the trailer have air conditioning?
Yes they are equipped with A/C and heating. The A/C units will not work without 110 power. The rental unit must either be plugged into an external 110 power source or you must start the generator to have any 110 access inside the rental unit.
Is there an on board generator? Is there a charge for the generator?
Each trailer is different, some do have generators on board. Please check the page specific to each trailer to see if Generator on Board is listed under the “Included in Rental” list. If not, you will need to request it either when you book or at least 2 weeks before your scheduled pick up date. You can rent our generators for $20 per day There is also a $200 deposit, when the generator comes back with no damage and the gas tanks are full you will get the $200 back. It does run on regular gas. We don’t have a limit to the hours you put on the generators.
How do I reserve a trailer?
You can book right on the website. Once you have found the trailer that will fit your needs click on the green “Book Now” towards the bottom of the page. You can click on the dates to pick up and return the trailer. If the dates are colored that means that the trailer is not available. Then it will ask you the necessary info, such as name, address, phone number, and email address. It will also ask you if you need any additional options (furnishing, allow pets, generator). If you choose to pay the full amount upfront just click the pay now with PayPal (it will take you directly to Paypay with the total of your rent amount) if you just want to may the 25% click the Pay later option. We will then send you a PayPal request for the 25% and we can set up arrangements for the rest of the payment.
Do we need to have a brake controller installed in my vehicle?
It isn’t required but if you will traveling over steep passes it is highly recommended. You will need to have this installed before your rental.
Do we have Tent Trailer and Toy Haulers?
We don’t have any Tent Trailers and we have 1 Toy Hauler, the 29′ Stealth.
What type of wiring connection is required?
We provide any power converters that you should need, for both hooking to your vehicle and plugging in at your campground.
Is there a minimum day rental?
On holiday weekends closest to (Memorial day, Fathers day, 4th of July, 24th of July, and Labor day) we do require a 4 day minimum rental. Any other weekend we do not require you to rent a minimum number of days. We know that sometime you just want to get away and you can only do one night.
Do you charge for insurance?
No, the insurance is included in your daily rental charge. We do have additional insurance that you can purchase for $14.95 per day.
What size of hitch to we need to bring?
You don’t need to bring one. We provide an equalizer hitch with each rental. The equalizer hitch increased the safety while towing. All you need is the receiver hitch, this is a square tube attached to your bumper.
How do I know If my vehicle can pull the trailer?
The owner’s manual of your vehicle will give you a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). Then check what the weight of the trailer is on our web site. You should stay about 500lbs to 1000lbs away from your GVWR because the weight on are web site are not including any water or any of your personal items.
Do I have to go to a campground with full hook-ups?
Nope, we have solar panels & batteries on the trailer that should last you during the trip. Please keep in mind that some thing in the trailer won’t work unless the trailer is hooked to external power, for instance tv, power outlets, and AC. If you are staying for more than a few days, make sure to be conservative with your electricity and water. If you are staying somewhere without hook-up, once those things are gone they are gone.
If a unit is available what kind of minimum notice do you require?
If we have a trailer available you can rent same day. Just give us a couple hours notice so we can get things ready for you.
